Leonard Whiting is a British actor and singer best known for his teenage role as Romeo in Franco Zeffirelli’s 1968 film version of Romeo and Juliet. He was born in Wood Green, London, England, to Arthur Leonard Whiting and Peggy Joyce (O’Sullivan) Whiting. He has two younger sisters, Linda and Anne.
