Latest News About Missing Titanic Submarine

As of 10:02 AM PST on June 22, 2023, the Titanic Submarine has not been found. The submersible, named Titan, was carrying five people on a dive to the wreck of the Titanic when it lost contact with its support vessel on Sunday, June 19. The submersible has 40 hours of emergency oxygen remaining, but search crews have not been able to locate it.

The search for the Titan is ongoing, and the US Coast Guard is using a variety of methods, including sonar and underwater drones, to try to find the submersible. However, the search is challenging, as the Titanic wreck site is located in a remote area of the North Atlantic Ocean and is at a depth of nearly 13,000 feet.

The crew of the Titan includes Hamish Harding, a British billionaire and adventurer; Shahzada Dawood, a Pakistani-British businessman and his son, Suleman; Stockton Rush, chief executive and founder of Ocean Gate Expeditions; and Paul-Henri Nargeolet, a French submersible pilot.

The search for the Titan is a race against time, as the submersible’s oxygen supply is limited. However, the search crews are hopeful that they will be able to find the submersible and its crew alive.
