Cristiano Ronaldo to Leave Al-Nassr for Ambassadorial Role at Real Madrid

Cristiano Ronaldo decides to leave Al-Nassr as he gets new role at Real Madrid

Ronaldo’s Departure from Al-Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo, a football icon, has decided to leave the Saudi Arabia Professional League club Al-Nassr soon. He joined Al-Nassr in January 2023 after a falling out with his former club Manchester United’s manager Erik ten Hag. However, he is reportedly not going to stay much longer in Saudi Arabia.

Offered an Ambassadorial Role at Real Madrid

Florentino Perez, the president of Ronaldo’s former club Real Madrid, has reportedly offered him an ambassadorial role at the club. The 38-year-old Portugal international had expressed his desire to return to Real Madrid after his departure from Juventus in 2022. However, Perez had previously blocked Ronaldo’s potential return to the Bernabeu in a playing role.

Failed Attempt at Return to Real Madrid

Before joining Al-Nassr, Ronaldo had attempted to return to Real Madrid. The Portuguese striker scored 450 goals and provided 131 assists in 438 games during his previous stint at the club. However, Perez had blocked his return to the playing field.

New Role as Club Ambassador or Sports Organization Member

Perez has now offered Ronaldo a return to Los Merengues, but not in a playing role. The reports suggest that he has been offered a role as a club ambassador or to be a part of their sports organization chart. Ronaldo’s new role at Real Madrid is yet to be confirmed, but it appears that he is set to leave Al-Nassr to take up this new opportunity.
